Methods of Determining the Structural Properties of Low-Cost House Constructions
The paper describes methods used by the National Bureau of Standards to determine the structural properties of elements of a low-cost house: structural properties of wall specimens under compressive, transverse, concentrated, impact, and racking loads; of partition specimens under impact and concentrated loads; of floor specimens under transverse, concentrated, and impact loads; and of roof specimens under transverse and concentrated loads.
