Ester 25 Miles West
The project is concerned with the reconstruction of that portion of roadway between Ester and 25 miles West of Ester on the Fairbanks to Nenana Highway in Alaska. The present roadway has substandard alignment and grades throughout the entire section encompassed by the proposed project. The only adverse environmental impact determined would be to wildlife near the highway, some possible ice-fog formation in the future, and a decrease in the use of the Alaska Railroad for freight and passengers.
