US Route 7, Bennington to Manchester, Vermont. Project F019-1(8), F019-1(9), F319-1(10)
Construction of Projects F 019-1(8) and F 019-1(9) commences southerly of the Bennington-Shaftsbury Town Line and continues northerly approximately 20 miles on relocation easterly of and more or less parallel to existing US 7 to a point on Vermont Route 11 easterly of Manchester Center. Project F 319-1(10) commences on existing US 7 southerly of Arlington Village and extends approximately 2.0 miles easterly to an intersection with proposed Project F 019-1(8). Projects F 019-1(8) and F 019-1(9) are to be four lane divided highways with initial two lane construction. Right-of-way will be acquired for the ultimate four lane design. Access will be limited to interchange areas. Project F 319-1(10) (Arlington Connector) will be a two lane highway with access controlled to Town Highway Intersections. The adverse environmental effects are expected to be minimal.
