This project was designed to enhance fall streamflows in the Scott River for fall run chinook salmon. Three low head, temporary dams were built to impound water and recharge adjacent aquifers. Water quality was monitored. Local agency and landowner cooperation was an essential ingredient in the completion of this project. Results were mixed due, in part, to an extremely low water year.
