Chatam West Apartments, Brockton, Massachusetts
The project proposes construction of 300 units of multifamily housing in the City of Brockton, Massachusetts. The overall environmental impact of the proposal is expected to be quite beneficial with respect to its long-term productivity. The proposed project will not effect the aesthetic environment of the adjacent Park since the revised site plan eliminates a number of two bedroom units from the northeasterly corner of the 20.4 acre site. The issues of drainage have been adequately treated by the developer, to the satisfaction of the Department of Natural Resources, Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency and HUD.
