Meat Processing Build-Own-Operate Ventures
In mid 1996, Koch Supplies, Inc. was approached by Western NIS Enterprise Fund (WNISEF) to join them in the pursuit of building and becoming a joint venture equity partner in meat processing facilities in Ukraine. The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (TDA) issued a grant to Koch to cover certain expenses associated with the development of feasibility studies and travel to pursue these joint venture partnerships and lengthy negotiations with one particular prospect, successful financing through WSINEF was not achieved and our efforts in this territory for joint venture meat facilities were terminated.
