The report surveys current residential vacancy and turnover rates in Minneapolis. The greatest concentration of Housing turnovers and of vacant housing units generally occurs in areas near the center of the city. The Housing Elements Program will continue to monitor these rates over a period of time to assist the city in meeting relocation needs, performing housing market analysis, blight forecasting, and detailed city subarea analysis.
