The purpose of the project is to widen Poplar Level Road, an existing two lane roadway, to a four lane curbed and divided facility to serve projected traffic volumes for Louisville, Jefferson County, Kentucky. The existing character of the area will not be significantly changed by this project as only three residences and five businesses of the total 245 affected right of way parcels will be displaced.
