Regional Housing Plan, for Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar
The preparation of the Regional Housing Plan includes Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Pickens and Tuscaloosa Counties and focuses on an aggregate market study and housing plan for the six county area. The Housing Plan also includes five facets: Zoning, codes and ordinances, federal programs, program plans and legislation. A three to five year plan has been devised for each agency actively involved in housing. The report also includes a discussion of legislation which, in the opinion of the Council, is needed to alleviate the housing problems identified in this area. In the last section of this report additional measures to deal with housing problems which do not fall into previous portions of the plan are discussed. (Author)
