Eine Plattform für die Wissenschaft: Bauingenieurwesen, Architektur und Urbanistik
The built environment is often perceived as less than perfect. This may be partly due to the fact that, in the course of planning, satisfactory information could not be provided concerning the appearance of the environment in reality. It is not known how different designs will be evaluated, and even less is known regarding the factors which are most important in forming an assessment of these different designs. The report deals with research to find a method whereby the perception of both real and planned physical environment can be evaluated. A second task was to perform a comparison of different methods of presentation, both conventional ones and those of more recent date.
