Potential Water Savings of Conservation Techniques
The St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) contracted with a team of professional consultants to evaluate the effectiveness of water conservation techniques implemented by utilities within SJRWMD. This report describes the analysis conducted during the Study and presents the results of the Study. The objective of this Study was to determine the opportunity for savings in indoor and outdoor water use from the implementation of water conservation techniques by local utilities within SJRWMD. This determination of savings as a result of the implementation of various water conservation techniques is intended to serve as a basis for use by SJRWMD to assess expected savings in overall water use for development of SJRWMDs 2005 Water Supply Plan.
