S.H. Loop 9: From Near Denton Tap Road and Sandy Lake Road East to S.H. 78 Near Rowlett Creek, Dallas and Collin Counties, Texas
The project proposes construction of State Highway Loop 9 from near Denton Tap Road and Sandy Lake Road, east to near State Highway 78 and Rowlett Creek, length 25.8 miles in the Cities of Coppell, Carrollton, Addison, Richardson, Plano, Sachse, and Garland. The proposed project consists of the construction of an eight-lane controlled-access freeway facility. The development of the project will require the displacement of nine residences and one business. Four major alternate locations have been studied along with four minor alternate connectors. Also, two design concepts have been considered.
