Hawaii's Floating City Development Program
Progress toward the engineering design, construction logistics, and the construction of large stable floating platforms is described. Plans to construct the first floating city are discussed and the planned utilization of the community described. For the first two years the city would be a tourist attraction and then gradually be phased into a research community of 15,000 people. The organizational structure of the project and the project's finances are given. (Author)
