Test Program of Moment-Resistant Steel Beam-To-Column Connections
The objective of the study is to investigate the performance of specified beam-to-column web connections under unsymmetrical loading. Although symmetrically loaded web connections are often found in the interior of building frames, the program concentrates on the more critical case of unsymmetrical loading, the type of loading normally found on the outer column line of buildings. Primary attention is focused upon the moment capacity, rotation capacity, and overall stiffness of web connections.
