Asphaltic Pavement Warranties. Three-Year Progress Report. Innovative Contracting Practices. Special Experimental Project No. 14
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation began building asphaltic concrete pavements with a warranty specification in 1995. By the end of 1997, nine asphaltic warranty projects had been built. The purpose of the report is to briefly discuss the interim results/findings of this warranty program in order to: keep interested parties informed of the progress of this new initiative; see if modifications to the warranty program are needed; and help chart the future use of warranties.
