Rural Energy Survey and Profiles: Senegal
Part one describes a survey undertaken as part of a renewable energy program by the Peace Corps. Aimed at assisting developing countries in identifying energy needs in rural areas and implementing alternative, renewable energy projects at the community level. Survey designed to obtain detailed information about energy resources in rural villages, combining social, cultural and economic issues. Part two provides detailed energy use information for several Senegalese villages included in the survey.
