Pursuit of Livability: A Strategic Planning Cooperative
This book describes an eighteen month collaborative effort between the U.S. Department of Urban Development and Partners for Livable Communities. The program was carried out as a joint venture of eight communities: Chattanooga, Tennessee; Noblesville, Arizona; Orlando, Florida; Pittsburgh, Pennysylvania; Rochester, New York; Scottsdale, Arizona; Somerset, County, New Jersey; and the Alpine /Diamond Region of Europe. The goal of these communities was to develop a comprehensive community planning strategy.
