ISO 834 - 1975 - Fire Resistance Tests - Elements of Building Construction, is being revised. The current version is for national standards in the Nordic countries and is listed as a NORDTEST method NT FIRE 005. It is adopted with no alterations. Other standard organizations have their own versions. ISO/TC 92/SC 2/WG 1 has drafted a revision of ISO 834 which is divided into three parts. The report contains critiques and comments by a Nordic group of experts and by the author on the first part of the revised draft standard.
