An Experimental Concrete Road 38 Years Old: Condition and Performance of Sections of A.316 Great Chertsey Road
Following the issue of a report describing the present condition of a concrete pavement experiment on the Great Chertsey Road in England, an area of the pavement was broken out so that an examination of the condition of dowel bars and reinforcement could be made after 40 years of service. This short addendum gives the conclusions reached and also discusses soil tests made on the subgrade.
