A Comprehensive Plan for Nicoma Park
The plan is an inventory of current community problems; development of policies, principles, and standards as guidelines for future development; and development of a plan for 1990 which includes land use, trafficways, public facilities, and public utilities. The plan is a twenty-year plan which is comprehensive in that it considers the city as a system and considers each component which composes this system and their interrelationships. It therefore is a plan for the development of the city as a whole, instead of a plan for the development of each segment of this system in isolation. The plan is presented in the following manner: (1) The Land Use Plan, (2) The Circulation Plan, (3) The Public Facilities Plan, and (4) The Public Utilities Plan. The document represents the goals of the city of Nicoma Park and the development pattern which will achieve these goals over the next twenty years.
