The study, done by Oregon State University, contains a collection of information taken while visiting the Institute of Atmospheric Physics in USSR. Brief visits were made to the Institute of Oceanology, Academy of Sciences in Moscow, to some departments of Moscow State University, and to one department of the Institute of Oceanology located in Leningrad. Most of the report is on the work done in turbulence with emphasis on air-sea interaction. The air-sea interaction work is done jointly by the Institutes of Atmospheric Physics and Oceanology.
