The project proposes construction and operation of a 400 MW generating station consisting of a boiler house, turbine generator hall, service area, an administrative building, and a stack 389 feet in height. Other major construction work will involve intake and discharge structures, oil unloading facilities and storage tanks, and dredging and disposal of an estimated 320,000 cubic yards of material. Environmental impacts and adverse environmental effects are discussed.
