A correspondence principle is developed by means of which effective complex moduli of viscoelastic composites can be determined on the basis of analytical expressions for effective elastic moduli of composites. The method is applied to determine complex moduli of isotropic particulate composites with special attention to the composite spheres assemblage model. Very good agreement with published experimental results for effective complex moduli is obtained. (Author)
