Annual Housing Survey: 1979. Housing Characteristics for Selected Metropolitan Areas: Cleveland, Ohio, Standard Metropolitan Statistical Area
This report presents statistics on housing and household characteristics for Cleveland, Ohio, based on data compiled in the 1979 Annual Housing Survey performed for HUD. Part A on general housing characteristics presents selected housing characteristics for 1979, 1976, and 1970; characteristics of new construction units; 1976 characteristics of housing units removed from the housing inventory; and characteristics of vacant, year - round housing units. General housing characteristics for households with Black and Hispanic household heads are also included. Part B presents indicators of housing and neighborhood quality, with data on owner - occupied and renter - occupied housing units. Part C shows housing characteristics according to the income of the family or primary individual, the value of the property, and the gross rent. Part D covers recent mover households and shows comparisons of the present and previous unit occupied. Part F cross - tabulates the indicators of housing and neighborhood quality by income, value, and gross rent. Maps and an explanation of the data collection and processing procedures are included.
