The proposed action provides a project for major improvements at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Library to accommodate the increasing number of visitors. Items contemplated include the acquisition of additional land and construction of additional parking facility, construction of a Visitors' Center, and completion of the landscaping. The Visitors' Center will have a gross area of approximately 12,000 square feet. Acquisition of additional land will provide for about 260 parking spaces. Short-term inconveniences associated with normal construction activities may be expected during construction.
