Body and Landscape. Journey to Wildness
The course consists of lectures, studio projects and a library exam. The studio projects will be supported by the lectures which present the theoretical background and some of the main theses of landscape architecture. The aim of the lectures and the projects is to give a general picture of landscape architecture as a profession and as a field of art with its own history, developmental characteristics and artistic means. This term's course will concentrate on the characteristics and the transformations of landscape through the examination of the human body. Landscape is approached as an extension of the body. Central themes are on the one hand 'wildness' and on the other hand 'well being'.
