Proposed is a project beginning west of the junction of U.S. Highway 50 and Colorado State Highway 340, within the urban limits of the City of Grand Junction, Colorado. The project proceeds easterly about 1.2 mi. It is desired to expand the existing two-lane roadway into a complete four-lane divided facility by addition of the proposed route. A small group of people would have to be displaced and relocated. A few improvements lying on proposed right-of-way would have to be acquired and reconstructed elsewhere. Some private and municipal property would have to be purchased. During construction minor and transitory pollution of the Colorado River may occur.
