The proposed facility is two-lane plus truck passing lanes from Sta 155 to Sta 115 for southbound and Sta 90 to Sta 130 for northbound traffic. The only recognized unavoidable adverse environmental effects are: The necessary removal of trees within the route location, removal of houses and displacement of persons. The above sited statistics on land use and preliminary estimates made by the State of Ohio, Department of Highways reveal adequate available replacement housing in the Athens area. This housing is commensurate with dwellings to be taken and is nearby; thereby lessening the burden of individuals dislocated by the project.
