The study is a preliminary analysis of the housing problems in a small Kentucky city and rural county: the City of Mt. Sterling and Montgomery County, Kentucky. It examines some of the problems of housing such as overcrowding, new housing being built for low income families, adequacy of supply of public housing, the number of families that cannot obtain either public or private housing, and the concentration of low income families and minority group families into substandard neighborhoods.
