Construction of 14.04 Miles of Interstate and Secondary Highway in Quay County, New Mexico
The projects entail the improvement of present U.S. Highway 66 and S.R. 39 to four (4)-lane facilities to meet specifications required for construction of Interstate 40 in New Mexico. The projects are located in Quay County, commencing approximately 12.5 miles east of the City of Tucumcari and extending in an easterly direction to a point approximately two miles east of the Village of San Jon. Environmental impacts are discussed.
