The purpose of this project was to evaluate the condition of district heating pipes and to try to establish a rule of the thumb of the condition as a function of the type of pipes, age, construction principle and so on. The analyses were performed using both theoretical methods and field tests of different systems and questionnaire answers concerning failures. (ERA citation 11:005649)
