Main results from Phase 2 of a research project on high-strength concrete are summarized. Subprojects relate to beams and columns (ductility of heavily reinforced sections, confinement models, creep at elevated temperatures), plates and shells (punching shear and biaxially loaded reinforced panels including modelling and analysis), fatigue under stress gradients, materials design (water movement, effect of moisture on mechanical properties, stress-strain properties) and design applications (recommendations to NS 3473, FIP-CEB State-of-the-Art report).
