The present report sums up the background, aims, plans, design, systems, preliminary test results and practical experiences from 3 solar houses at Heimdal (Norway). Not any of the solar heating systems has been in operation throughout the time of recording. In spite of this, the energy consumption in a so-called double-shell house, is about the same as in the super-insulated houses in the same area. Detailed measurements in another double-shell house which is equipped with an ''American'' solar heating system, uncovered certain weaknesses. This house is to be rebuilt. 25 drawings, 4 tables.
