The project is a Neighborhood Development Program which provides low and moderate assisted low-income housing and market rate rental housing in an area just east of the Central Business District of Denver, Colorado. The project will remove 49 business and 869 housing units from the 72 acre site and replace them with 200 units of housing for the elderly, 150 Garden Apartments, 200 Townhouse Apartments and 150 units of high rise apartments along with site improvements. The project will benefit the social environment by providing much needed housing which is close to jobs, major recreational, health, cultural, educational facilties and shopping in the area and downtown Denver.
