Eine Plattform für die Wissenschaft: Bauingenieurwesen, Architektur und Urbanistik
Recently, offshore platforms have come to be built in seismically active areas such as southern California, Alaska and Japan. Under these circumstances, offshore structures are required to have sufficient energy absorption capacity to withstand rare intense earthquake motions without collapsing. Here are described (1) a technique for performing static analysis on elastic structures integral with piles and soil, judging the yield, buckling and collapse of structural members and changing the rigidity or model of the structure as required; (2) a method for analysis of elastoplastic structures integral with piles and soil by automatically carrying out the operations inside; (3) three simplified methods for dynamic analysis of structures by imparting initial kinematic energy to the structure; and (4) a method for nonlinear time history analysis of structures. The results of comparative study conducted by applying these methods to small-scale platforms are presented.
