The Crosstown Controversy: A Case Study
A report is made on the management history of public business, leading to not building a highway in Philadelphia, and leaving a neighborhood in its path thwarted in renewal efforts. The report has three main sections: Highlight events surrounding the Crosstown controversy as seen from a community perspective, an analysis of the main themes as disclosed by the survey, and recommendations for planning and effectuation of construction of public facilities. The style of action research is a form of participant observation.
