Energy Conservation: Buildings (A Bibliography with Abstracts)
Energy conservation in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings through use of efficient heating, air conditioning, and lighting systems is discussed. Topic areas cover the retrofitting of existing buildings, methods of detecting heat loss, and better use of electric power, using thermal energy storage and solar heat. A few abstracts deal with general studies on the potential for conserving energy in buildings and guidelines and manuals for building owners. (This updated bibliography contains 204 abstracts, 88 of which are new entries to the previous edition.)
