Ohio and Erie Canal Corridor Study: A Route to Prosperity
The study's purpose is to provide information to Congress to guide decisions concerning the future of the corridor. The study identifies corridor resources and analyzes the national significance of the corridor, and its suitability and feasibility for inclusion as an affiliated area of the National Park Service or as a unit of a potential National Heritage Partnership system. The study also examines alternative management frameworks to preserve and manage these resources.
