The report concludes the work of the project Fatigue of Marine Structures carried out under the National 5-Years Research Program for Fatigue of Offshore Structures. In defined sub-projects, the following aspects were covered, Fatigue crack initiation and growth in full scale structures, experimental and by fracture mechanics analysis. Cumulative damage and the effect of small cycles in the stress spectrum. Evaluation of fabrication factors, and their influence on fatigue strength by probabilistic fracture mechanics methods.
