Initial Housing Element for the State of Missouri
The report generally analyzes housing conditions in the State of Missouri, and recommends possible solutions and programs to improve present and future conditions. This Initial Housing Element identifies the major housing problems in the State and presents the obstacles which are hindering the problems from being solved. In addition, past housing related planning activities are described, and a set of State housing objectives are outlined. As means of obtaining the objectives, possible problems are suggested with the newly created State Housing Development Commission used as the implementation device. The Operation Breakthrough Program for the State of Missouri is included and is utilized as the major work element in the study. (Author)
