The report describes a pilot project to determine the most desirable and appropriate architectural and acoustical plan for a multidisciplinary center to serve the deaf and persons with communicative disorders. Plans for a free standing structure were incorporated into the master plan calling for the dispersal of buildings throughout the campus with the provision of open green spaces to provide an aesthetically pleasing atmosphere for patients and employees.
