The impact of constructing this major link in the proposed I-391, goes beyond highway-users to include benefits to the social and economic structures of the urban area. Construction of I-391 presents opportunities for Willimansett to reap major benefits from a regional highway facility, including revitalization of the center of the community. The loss of sixty-three residences, ten businesses, and a primary religious center cannot be avoided. Air pollution will tend to increase as long as exhaust emissions from automobiles exist. Noise levels through the project area will tend to increase. One-half acre of non-laying and parking areas for Rivers Park will be taken by the project.
