Investigation on Conventional Weapon Penetration and Explosion Point Distribution in Buildings Studie Avseende Konventionella Vapens Intraengning och Explosionspunktsfoerdelning I Byggand
The penetration of projectiles in buildings was studied, especially for nonvertical incidences. A calculation scheme is presented for the places where the explosion occurs in the building, e.g., in connection with the location of the shelter. A computer program was chosen. The calculation was based on the Monte Carlo method and numerical integration. It is supposed the projectiles are equipped with a retardation device. Results are given for two types of multistory buildings.
