The first part, Systems and Components deals with interim performance criteria for heating, cooling, and hot water systems and their subassemblies. The second part, Building and Sites, presents performance criteria dealing with the interactions between the solar energy system and its surrounding environment, the building and site. The criteria are organized on the basis of the following performance attributes: functional, mechanical, structural, safety, durability/reliability, and maintainability.
