A Statistical Study of Asphaltic Concrete
The report discusses a project selected to establish average values and variability parameters for asphaltic pavement material characteristics presently used as a measure of quality; the effect of variations in process, sampling and testing on the variability parameters. A comparison is made between the present field and laboratory test methods to determine the validity of present sampling and testing methods and to study the adequacy of present specifications.
