The project consists of upgrading State Road 10A in Lake City, Florida, from an existing two-lane facility to a modern multi-lane urban facility. The project generally follows existing alignment to Country Club Road thence eastward on new location to SR 10 east of Lake City. Three alternate locations were evaluated. The adverse environmental impacts would be some increase in noise levels, loss of street frontage property, and displacement of persons and businesses. Benefits would be the provision of a safe, modern and efficient east-west thoroughfare.
