Segmental Precast Prestressed Concrete Piles
The working party investigated those piles for which there was a proven permanent and substantial demand. Three types of piles were reviewed; properties were tabulated and the piles described diagramatically. It was noted that the piles could be spliced by simple procedures and brought benefits in availability, handling and adaption to suit foundation requirements.
