The Idaho State Health Plan is the plan and the actions of State government to address Idaho's statewide health needs as identified by the Statewide Health Coordinating Council. In general the Idaho State Health Plan is a broad policy document which has as its purpose: (1) The development and articulation of Idaho State government's health and health related policies and programs. (2) The development of a mechanism for guiding State and Federal resource allocation to meet State health needs. (3) Guiding the development of a coordinated approach to identification and resolution of health problems and achieving equal access to health care at a reasonable cost.
