This volume contains two appendices to the narrative included in Volume 1 of the report. Appendix 5 soil-geomorphic investigations for Auburn Dam, California Preliminary Phase, is a report of field reconnaissance to determine the possible presence and time of last movement of faults located at or near the proposed damsite. Appendix 6 soil-geomorphic investigations Maidu East Shear and F-O Fault Zones, Auburn Dam area, California, addresses the dating of two shear zones in the damsite area.
