A survey and study of the current literature related to the possibility of occurrence of wind-induced fatigue problems in modern tall buildings was undertaken, and a summary of the literature is presented. Topics covered in the report include wind load, random vibration of wind-excited building structures, fatigue of metals, fatigue behavior of welded connections and random fatigue.
